The room- Cozy Living

 I am happy to say that a event I have been waiting for is open. The home  show 2014 event! Some of the main stores I was excited about are not set up yet though. But I think a couple are behind (at the time of this post) as I have seen them in other events too this week. So many events going on at the same time. The only downer so far for me is that I had hoped for many new homes to be presented. I collect homes more than wigs on here lol. But hey! New furniture works too:).   I am happy to bring you this post today. I am using Trompe Loeil's cottage which I am sure most of us have.  It is one of the houses I love to decorate over and over. A low prim build that you can easily fill up with high quality and Low impact furnitures.  I love using smaller builds over and over and decorating them in different ways. The furniture is a mix of my newest items, such as the Apple Fall bedroom items from this past Arcade (he usually puts his machine in the store afterwards, so no fussin) & of course new items from the Home show 2014 and other events I have been at recently.

I love to decorate all the time. I mean like really...all the time. Plus with my favorite home store opening up just 20 easy highway minutes down the road from me. I have already started going a few times a week. Well I was told the shipping days lol. So I go the day after they deliver new things!!(Don't judge me)There is Always something new to get. So my rl & sl go hand and hand with the decor craze! I love seeing everyone decorating their spaces on sl so amazingly. It makes me wonder if they also love to decorate just as much in rl as I do. I would think if you have that passion it is a part of you. I believe everyone should feel like they walked into a high end hotel or HGTV when they come home. It is easy for me as I get pieces that make my eyes go wide. Sometimes I get over the top pieces, and sometimes I go simple and just mix them into one space. I also have learned to grab and go lol. I used to over think things way too much. Then when I decide to go back whatever I wanted is gone. So now when something catches my eye, it it matches (sometimes not) I just get it and go!

This is a series I am going to add on my blog and to my new flickr. The Room....what is it you say? It is me decorating a one room space to play with my creativity and post it for you! So many ways you can decorate a home. You can put things in any room you desire and it's so much versatility.
So much furniture has been released. This week alone has been crazy. I go back to whining about houses because they aren't being made as rapidly. It is the only thing that holds my decorating back. I need new homes. If I am wishing more homes are made I am sure alot of people are waiting also. I have my fingers crossed that more creators will step up and make homes. Not just cottages or family homes. But estates and mansions and something that when you see it...it makes you say wow. Not everyone wants 60 prim homes. They are amazing of course at that low prim. But I really want a showstopper and I do not care if it's 60 prims or 1000 prims.Let's just say until some houses I feel are worthy come out. I will just be focusing on The Room!

 I am having a wonderful day. It is bright and sunny & warm here.Very beautiful day. I am hoping it stays like this throughout the week. I am trying to not get too happy, because I thought the snow was gone a couple of days ago and while out it snowed again! Big snowflakes:) It was pretty and it didn't stay around long. So I got to enjoy it without being snowed in. I know that everyone has moved on to spring homes, but in my neck of the woods..I am not sure if it's really time for that. So this will be my last snow cottage post for the year (maybe, no promises). I love snow homes on SL. Let me make that clear. You won't see me trying to live in Alaska or Colorado lol. It just looks nice and calming. I tend to prefer soothing colors and feels. I just love how I can make the homes look calming and just glowy. (ok spell check glowy isn't a word! hater...smh)
