Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! I am here today featuring CHEZ MOI Kalista Home Office Set! It's funny because every time I was about to grab something to blog, something else came out from the store and then I had to think on it. When this desk set came out, I knew it was what I was waiting for! I love this set and decided upon using the gray version automatically! I started with the wall panels and went from there decorating. I went crazy with lighting and chandeliers in here. I am just feeling light fixtures a lot at the moment! Most of the hardware I used was gold. I even sometimes mix hardware colors depending upon my mood. But I went full gold for this office space. I added a good many plants in here as well. I don't have a green thumb in rl at all. But I go nuts with plants in sl to make up for it. I love office spaces. My rl office has a black desk. I love to add decor and just really have fun with my space especially since I spend so much time in it! LOL! Every Black history month I learn new things about our amazing history. You do not get taught about your history in these schools. When I was little, I wanted to know more and started going to the library to read books, Malcom X being one of them. I wanted to know as much as I could. My family has even had ancestry tests to know where we come from. History is very important to us. I want to acknowledge this month as it should be celebrated but do not limit yourself to researching and learning for one month. Research for a lifetime. They try to erase our history. Anything that can uplift us. The Moors for example. Teach everyone, teach your kids. Educate! Racism and all of the different things that go on are so tiring. Sometimes, I sit and think when I read a new article about something stupid, I say are they not over it yet!?!?! Unfortunately, not, but we aren't going anywhere so whatever! LOL! My family built the city I am from with blood sweat and tears. Owned most of the land including where the high school, town hall and downtown is now. They stole it all. Every place has history. Good and bad.
My family has more land in the city now and we are trying to see what to do with it currently. It's not a fun process and has me stressed to my eyeballs honestly. We get older, things change. People move and sadly people pass away. It's hard to check on properties 10 hours away! Pray for me. I miss the days of being a child with no responsibilities and my parents did everything for me. Then it comes to a point you have to do for them. Circle of life you guys. I enjoy decorating. It gives me time to just mentally relax. I know people would love for me to reopen my service, but the time is not there, and I don't like deadlines, stress, being told what to do. All of the above! LOL! I do love showing you the items I get to feature and the ideas I had with them as far as creating new spaces. I still have ideas in mind for alternative ways to use Majesty but everything is on a back burner. I can always pick up where I left off in the future. I just don't know when and I don't like to give time frames unless they are set in stone. I notice when people hit me up only when they need or want things. People like this are all over SL and are just exhausting. Nobody is stupid. LOL! Just know that. This might be my last post for the month. I am decorating another space at the moment with at least 2 more to release. Looking at the date, I know I will not get all of them out before March. But, check back. *Please note I didn't make it to post these blog posts before March! It's ok though! I had typed this post up in February before I was able to finish my last post with Apple Fall so that is why I am still referencing Black History Month. I try to post the items by the date they have been released prioritizing the ones released earlier. So, this post has been sitting in my drafts since it's a newer item! So, I should get my Haikei post out before posting this one. But, I am not. LOL! I am still adding final things to the cute space I am decorating so this one is up next. Stay tuned. Haikei is next.
