Majesty- Living In Style. Part One
Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! I am here featuring the brand spanking new skyhome from Onsu! The Millenium Skyhome is the perfect size for a couple or single. It has one bedroom and one bathroom. There are different surround textures for a day or night feel. I went with the night surround. I started out with the typical neutral colors and then I was like no I want to go a different direction and how about using my favorite color throughout which is actually blue. So, that is my main pop of color in here and then I added colors and items that fit the mood. I don't think of my decorating style as gender specific. So, anyone should be able to come in here and maybe add some personal items and live the posh lifestyle I was going for. As I type this, I am not sure how many features I will have or how I will take the pics. I want you guys to see most of everything as I am decorating the whole skyhome. I am not in here alone so the feedback I am getting has me cackling because I am such a seasoned decorator that suggestions just...I just don't care about suggestions. LOL!!! I have a vision, and I am going with it ok!! But he knows I appreciate him ok. I have been told the other space I did is too dark so I will look at that. But I am typically a dark or bright person. We will see you guys, I am trying to incorporate different themes etc. I don't want to do anything that looks like something I already did even with the same items involved. I want it to show a different way. So, I am super excited about this home. I see people commenting in the store's Flickr about traditional homes and omg who wants that. LOL! So many years I suffered in SL with Leave it to beaver homes being made all the time. The layouts and the roof lines are so annoying. You have many options if you want a house like that. Some previous commenters also requested a smaller home and this fits the bill. But I am able to decorate it like I want without it being claustrophobic! I love adding little extras and details and you can still walk around here fine without standing on a sofa or something random and the main pieces I used are quite large. I am very critical and picky when it comes to decorating.
I could never be a blogger manager! People "blogging" empty houses make me sick! The effort is not there and it's not fair to real bloggers/decorators. They would be so sick of me rejecting their posts. LOL! One of my sponsors had someone "blog" a home like that recently. They put a piece of grass and a tree outside the house and took a close-up picture. VOILA! Like forreal people??? The home has full blinds/blacked out windows. She had them wide open. I was so sick. I don't throw my posts together in 5 minutes. They take me time to decorate. So, seeing no effort at all is just infuriating. The ad looked better. Ok, I am done fussing! LOL!! The dark floor texture. The last one on the right is everything. I love love love this shade of flooring!! I hated to put rugs on the floor. LOL! It's so pretty! I add rugs to give more warmth to the room and to add more personality, but these floors are super nice if you do not want to use any. I have to mention the home is ONLY 43 Land impact with the surround. I have decked out this house you guys and I am not using many prims at all. I can easily drop 1000 land impact in a house. I really can but I can also minimize that, and it was easy with this house and layout. I wanted to post within a week of release, but I am super picky and then I had to feel it. (mood based) now I am trying to get the best camera angle from all of the spaces in this multi space room. Things you are not seeing in this pic is the fully decorated fridge and the counter tops with kitchen decor. I went with this angle as it shows the main parts I want to showcase the most. I hope you guys like how I decorated this space!! I can't just put a sofa set and table and be like Viola!!! (Yes, I am throwing shade at a picture I saw) I like showing a home and its true potential. I know I am done with a space when I look at it and I don't feel the need to change anything.
